From Humble Beginnings to Global Enterprise
Palliyulla Kariat Abdulla Koya (P K Abdulla Koya) was born in Calicut (Kozhikode), North Kerala, as the third son of the late Kasmi Koya and Beevi. Growing up with modest resources, he took on small daily-wage jobs early in life to support his family, displaying resilient perseverance and entrepreneurial determination across various labor sectors.
In 1978, driven by ambition and an unrelenting work ethic, Abdulla Koya travelled to the United Arab Emirates. Over two decades in the Middle East, he accumulated deep technical acumen, business discipline, and global manufacturing partnerships.
The Stamp Revolution & Founding ADDPRINT (1998)
Recognizing the tedious, messy nature of traditional vulcanized rubber stamps in South Asia, Abdulla Koya envisioned a radical upgrade. In 1998, he forged technical alliances with premier Japanese manufacturers to introduce state-of-the-art Flash Stamp Technology into the Indian market under the brand Sun Stamper.
To supply and support thousands of small print shops, graphic designers, and independent stationers, he established ADDPRINT. By offering reliable machines, premium flash foams, oil-based inks, and durable casings, he transformed stamp making from a laborious craft into a profitable self-employment business that anyone could start with minimal capital.
Diversified Industrial Footprint
Building on the success of ADDPRINT, Abdulla Koya expanded his visionary footprint into telecommunications and power infrastructure by founding MELTRAX Electro-Mechanical & Communication System in the UAE, supplying major government and private utility projects.
His entrepreneurial canvas expanded across diverse manufacturing sectors, including Musou Micro Flash Foams Pvt Ltd (specialized polymer materials), Walayar Steels, Beta Granite (P) Ltd, National Tile Works, and Crest Wood, forming the multidimensional AKNOVEL Group.

Beyond industrial milestones, Abdulla Koya's greatest legacy lies in human empowerment. By democratizing stamp machinery and setting up direct dealer ecosystems, he has enabled more than 50,000 individuals across India and overseas to become financially independent business owners.
